Yeah... I am 'that' girl. I am 'that' girl that's always dancing. I am 'that' girl at the show to be the first one on the dance floor. I am 'that' girl dancing through life. I am a mover, groover and ass shakin' machine.
When I was 16 years old I found my love of dance through learning that I don't need to "have rhythm", I don't need to "know the steps" or "the count". I found my love of dance through learning a simple dance move: The Rubber Band. The Rubber Band was born at Bluesdays Tuesdays in Squaw Valley USA from my friend's boyfriend's dad trying to drag us silly insecure girls out to have a good time.
My life was never the same. I found my expression. From there I became 'that dancing girl' at every event. I, then, found conscious dance teaching me how to navigate myself and the dance floor.
